I am an athletic Diva...probably a lot less athletic than what I was in my teenage and early 20's.

But I think being an athlete gave me a chance to build up my confidence as a young teen. I was a tomboy and the other kids didn't let me go a day without teasing me about it. But as I continue to be a tomboy I was determine to be active and try any and all sports. I didn't need to be cute, have a lot of friends to play or actually be that good at it. But just the will to go out and try it when the other girls was too cute to even try, open up more opportunities for me to find my niche. I found softball as my sport of choice.

I was able to use softball to bring out my determination to be the best, determination to win, and determination to be myself. It built my confidence and make me what I am today.

I think I am an athletic Diva and I might fit some of the other categories too. But I have always loved basketball, softball and even started to watch football, since both my sons play. Guys are always amazed that I play (I think because I am SO SO fine, they have a preconceived notion of how the female who plays ball should look) but if you are strong and confident in yourself who cares what they think! And when you can look good doing it then thats just an added plus and it beats regular EXCERCISE any day! Holla Back!
